Bernini tower
The Bernini Tower is a distinctive 20-storey residential building overlooking Prinsenplas in Rotterdam. Comprising 72 high-quality apartments for private ownership, the project contributes to the sustainable regeneration of the Prinsenland neighbourhood. The design combines architectural quality with a focus on greenery, biodiversity and welcoming public spaces.
A Crisp Aluminium Grid
Vorsselmans was responsible for the engineering, manufacture and installation of the aluminium façades. The façade features a crisp aluminium grid incorporating integrated photovoltaic panels, recessed openings and solar shading louvres. The building envelope enhances the tower’s distinctive architectural character while contributing to its energy performance and residents’ comfort.
The Bernini Tower has become a new Rotterdam landmark and was named Rotterdam’s Most Distinctive Real Estate Project in 2025.
