Built on Vorsselmans’ Expertise

An Inspiring, Sustainable and Challenging Project

Scheduled for completion in mid-2025, this innovative project combines pioneering materials with energy-efficient design principles. It strengthens research capabilities while transforming a formerly contaminated site into a sustainable business location.

A Sustainable Innovation Hub

The new buildings provide advanced laboratories and demonstration spaces tailored to VITO’s core business: developing sustainable technologies. These facilities support innovation for the factories of tomorrow, both nationally and internationally.

Fully Developed in BIM

Vorsselmans contributed to the VITO Sustainability Park through the delivery of windows, doors and façades. Our scope included large linked window assemblies, with external solar shading louvres installed by others, and end façades incorporating architectural solar shading. Six glazed link bridges connecting Buildings A and B form a striking feature of the project.

Comprehensive BIM modelling enabled efficient, sustainable delivery, with close attention to both technical performance and architectural design. Close collaboration with main contractor Vanroey ensured successful delivery to programme.
